Here at The Way in Seoul we have lots international visitors from around the world. Below are some of the feedback we have received:
Milan Vis – Netherlands
“Hi there, my name is Milan. I was born in Seoul but don’t speak a lot of Korean, because I lived most of my live in the Netherlands. From July 2010 I stayed for a year in Korea and trained Sunmudo for 6 months at Golgulsa.
Before that I trained ITF Taekwondo at Chung-mu in Amsterdam. I really like Martial Arts and being active. The fact that they speak English at The Way is really comfortable.
The Way is a great collective of nice students and inspiring teachers. I am impressed by Mr. Kim’s diversity in Martial Arts. Mostly I trained Taekwondo, but sometimes I joined the other classes like Kickboxing, Hapkido and grabbling. Still, Taekwondo remains my favorite. I found my way to The Way and will definitely come back to this Gym when I am in Korea again!”
Tim De Groote – Belgium
“My name is Tim, I’m from Anzegem, Belgium…
I trained at ‘The Way’ in Seoul, this year for 2 months in Taekwondo and MMA. It was a great experience, thanks to the qualified instructors and friendly atmosphere, great times both in and out of the Gym. I learned a lot there and would recommend a visit to ‘The Way’ to anyone.”
Evgenny Allachsky – Russia
“My name is Evgenny Allachsky, I’m from Yakutsk in Russia. I trained at ‘The Way’ in Seoul in October and November for a month.
I train everyday in all the classes, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kickboxing and Jui-jitsu, all of which I enjoy.
All the classes are very interesting and beneficial for my life.
‘The Way’ has excellent teachers, who in a short time frame have taught me very well. I trained here because I want to open a school in my hometown of Yakutsk. The people in my town don’t know about Korean history and Martial Arts, only WTF Taekwondo.
I want to expand the knowledge of Korean Martial Arts in my hometown so that all people can know about Korea.”
Daniel Jong Theraldsen – Norway
“My name is Daniel Jong and I’m from Stathelle Eastern Norway and I was adopted from South Korea. I trained at ‘The Way’ in Seoul for 2 days when I was there in summer and it was a great experience for me which I can not describe how. I will visit ‘The Way’ again in a few years.
Thanks to Master Kim Hoon and all the instructors and students who I got to meet when I was there and train with. Here can you check website for my club in East Norway and the main page of NTN-ITF Taekwondo of whole Norway if you want to. I learned a lot there and would recommend a visit to ‘The Way’ to anyone.”
Michael Mendez Castillo – Puerto-Rico
“My name is Michael Mendez-Castillo, I’m from Puerto- Rico. I came to Seoul to study Natural Medicine and train in Martial Arts. I came to Master Kim at ‘The Way’ for one month last year and then again this year for 3 months. I really enjoyed training with him and the other Instructors and students. The way that Master Kim teaches is very corrrect and fun too. I will definitely come back when I’m in Korea again!”
